Once you experience the satisfying crunch from the air-fried coating paired with the creamy filling, you’ll understand why this is the only way I’ll make deviled eggs from now on.

Why This Method Is a Game Changer

The secret to these next-level deviled eggs lies in the combination of air frying and smoking flavors from the Woodfire Grill. Instead of the usual soft deviled egg whites, you get a crispy, golden exterior that adds a whole new dimension to the dish. The panko breading locks in the delicate smokiness of the paprika, making each bite a satisfying blend of crunch and creamy richness. And don’t worry, the egg filling is just as creamy and flavorful as ever, with a hint of spice that ties everything together.

Why go back to soft, slippery deviled eggs when you can have crispy, smoky perfection? After this, the old way just doesn’t cut it.

Perfect for Parties, BBQs, or Anytime You Want to Impress

These Woodfire Smoked & Air Fried Deviled Eggs are perfect for those occasions when you want to stand out. Whether it’s a BBQ, a family gathering, or just your weekend treat, they’re guaranteed to be the talk of the table. People will ask, “How did you get deviled eggs to be this crispy?” And you’ll be the hero of the day.

They’re also incredibly customizable—throw in some crispy bacon bits or garnish with smoked salmon to make them even more indulgent. And, of course, that finishing touch of smoked paprika isn’t just for flavor—it ties everything together with a mild smokiness that hits just right.

Woodfire Magic: Why This Is the Only Way I’ll Make Deviled Eggs from Now On

It’s not just the taste, but the technique. The Ninja Woodfire Grill lets you air fry and add a touch of smoke at the same time, which totally transforms a classic like deviled eggs. The crispy coating, when air fried to perfection, contrasts with the creamy filling in the most amazing way. I guarantee after making these, you’ll never want to go back to the soft, traditional version. They’re just that good. In fact, this method has officially replaced all other deviled egg recipes in my book. It’s the only way I’ll make them from now on—and I’m pretty sure you’ll feel the same.

Top Tips to Get the Best Results Every Time

    1. Panko for the Win: Use panko breadcrumbs for the best crunch. Regular breadcrumbs won’t give you the same crispy texture.
    2. Avocado Oil Spritz: Lightly spritz your egg whites with avocado oil before air frying to ensure they get that perfect golden color.
    3. Smoked Paprika: Don’t skimp on the smoked paprika—it’s essential to adding the smoky flavor that takes these deviled eggs over the top.
    4. Make Ahead: You can prep the egg whites and filling ahead of time, making them a great choice for stress-free party planning.

    Instructions

    • Cook 6 of your eggs hardboiled eggs however you like. I like to do mine in an instant pot for 5 minutes with a quick release.
    • Chill: Immediately place the eggs in an ice bath for 5 minutes.
    • Peel and Halve: Peel your eggs, slice them in half and scoop out the egg yolk. Place your egg whites in the fridge to stay cool.
    • Setup for Airfy: Fill your hopper with pellets and set your Woodfire to “Aircrisp”, making sure you hit the woodfire button. Set it to 400F (204C) and 10 minutes.
    • Make Filling: Mix your egg yolks, mayo and spices in a bowl and combine well. Put your filling inside of a freezer or piping bag.
    • Breading: Whisk 2 eggs in a bowl with the hot sauce if you are using it. Put the flour in another bowl, and the panko in a final bowl. Take your egg whites out of the fridge and dip them in the eggs, then the flour, back in the eggs and finally into the panko. Place your eggs in the air fry basket hole side down.
    • Air Fry: When the Woodfire says to “Add Food” place your eggs into the woodfire & mist them with the avocado oil and cook for 10 minutes. Flip them halfway through the cook.
    • Fill & ENJOY: When the eggs are done take them out set them on a plate. Pipe your filling into the eggs and dust with smoked paprika. Garnish with the chopped parsley.
