For the Party Ribs

  • Barbecue Rub of Choice
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • Peach Juice
  • Smoked Peach BBQ Sauce

Instructions

Smoke the Peaches

  • Preheat the Ninja Woodfire to Smoke at 200°F (93°C) .
  • Place the Peach Halves cut side up directly on the grill grate.
  • Smoke for 1 hour until softened and lightly smoky.
  • Remove the peaches and allow them to cool slightly.
  • Peel the peaches, dice them, and reserve for the sauce.

Prepare the Ribs

  • Trim the Pork Spare Ribs by removing any excess meat that is not part of the rack.
  • Score the membrane if desired.
  • Slice the rack into individual ribs.
  • Season all sides with your favorite Barbecue Rub.
  • Place the ribs into an Aluminum Pan and refrigerate for about 1 hour while the peaches smoke.

Smoke the Ribs

  • Arrange the seasoned ribs on the Ninja Woodfire grill grate, stacking as needed.
  • Set the Ninja Woodfire to Smoker at 250°F (121°C).
  • Smoke until the ribs reach approximately 165°F internal temperature, checking about every hour.
  • Make the Smoked Peach BBQ Sauce
  • Melt the Butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the White Onion and cook for 5 to 6 minutes until softened.
  • Add the Garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the Brown Sugar, Smoked Paprika, Granulated Onion, Granulated Garlic, White Pepper, Kosher Salt, and MSG.
  • Add a little Peach Nectar to help dissolve the sugar.
  • Stir in the Smoked Peaches, remaining Peach Nectar, Apple Cider Vinegar, and Ketchup.
  • Simmer over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Blend until completely smooth using an immersion blender or countertop blender.
  • Taste and adjust with additional Brown Sugar for sweetness or Apple Cider Vinegar for extra tang, if desired.

Braise the Ribs

  • Using the same Aluminum Pan, add the Butter.
  • Coat the ribs with the Smoked Peach BBQ Sauce.
  • Pour a little Smoked Peach BBQ Sauce into the bottom of the pan along with a little Peach Juice.
  • Arrange the ribs tightly together and cover with foil.
  • Increase the Ninja Woodfire temperature to 275°F (135°C).
  • Cook for about 1 hour, or until the ribs reach approximately 209°F (98°C) and are very tender.

Optional Finish

  • For additional color and texture, place the finished ribs in the Air Fryer at 400°F (204°C) for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Party Ribs cook faster because each rib is separated before cooking.
Smoking the Peaches first adds a subtle smoky flavor to the barbecue sauce.
The finished barbecue sauce is tangy, slightly sweet, and pairs perfectly with pork.
