Mocha Dalgona?
Dad wanted to see if he could make is a "dalgona mocha" style Dalgona Coffee so he added some cocoa powder to his recipe and an interesting thing happened when he did this.
When Dad added 2 tablespoon of instant coffee, 2 tablespoon of white sugar, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 2 tablespoon of boiling water and whipped it for the same time as the regular it would not whip up.
Something about adding the cocoa powder threw off the mix somehow. When Dad first tried this he added everything at the same time and had to add extra sugar to get this to whip up.
After some testing he figured out you could whip up a regular batch and then just add the cocoa powder at the end. It seems to work better that way. It won't be as frothy as the regular but it still does the trick.
