Those Candied yams look so GOOEY!

First, gather your ingredients: yams, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and mini marshmallows. Start by peeling and slicing the yams into even pieces. Next, coat them in a mixture of melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. This combination infuses the yams with a rich, sweet flavor that caramelizes beautifully in the air fryer.

Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place the coated yams in the air fryer basket in a single layer to ensure even cooking. Cook for about 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure all sides are evenly cooked. When the yams are tender and caramelized, top them with mini marshmallows and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the marshmallows are golden and gooey.

Their natural sweetness and smooth texture are ideal for creating that classic candied effect, especially when paired with the buttery, sugary coating and the gooey marshmallow topping.
