Equipment

  • 1 Wood Pellets
  • 1 Sauce Pan
  • 1 Bowl

Ingredients

WINGS

  • 2 lbs Chicken Wings
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 3 tablespoon Granulated Garlic
  • 3 tablespoon Granulated Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

Adobo Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Diced White Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Whole Black pepper Corns
  • 3 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable Oil
  • 5 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Spiced Vinegar Pinakurat
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 3 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon Water

Instructions

  • Add pellets to the hopper and set the Ninja Woodfire to Air Crisp and 390F or 199C.
  • Toss the wings in the oil and spices from the “Wings” section.
  • When the Ninja Woodfire Says to Add Food add the wings to the air crisp basket and cook them for around 30 minutes or until they reach 165°F or 73°C and are nice and crispy. Shake them and toss them every 10-15 minutes.
  • While the wings are cooking add the white onion, garlic and oil to a sauce pan over medium heat. When the onions soften and the garlic begins to brown add in the pepper, soy sauce, Vinegar (start with 1 TBSP), Bay leaves, water, and brown sugar.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Taste and adjust by adding vinegar, soy or water.
  • Mix the 2TBSP cornstarch and 2 tablespoon of water to make a slurry. Slowly add it until you reach the thickness you want.
