Add pellets to the hopper and set the Ninja Woodfire to Air Crisp and 390F or 199C.
Toss the wings in the oil and spices from the “Wings” section.
When the Ninja Woodfire Says to Add Food add the wings to the air crisp basket and cook them for around 30 minutes or until they reach 165°F or 73°C and are nice and crispy. Shake them and toss them every 10-15 minutes.
While the wings are cooking add the white onion, garlic and oil to a sauce pan over medium heat. When the onions soften and the garlic begins to brown add in the pepper, soy sauce, Vinegar (start with 1 TBSP), Bay leaves, water, and brown sugar.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Taste and adjust by adding vinegar, soy or water.
Mix the 2TBSP cornstarch and 2 tablespoon of water to make a slurry. Slowly add it until you reach the thickness you want.
