6 simple ingredients
Dad is pretty sure you have everything you need to make this BBQ sauce in the house right now. The main base of the sauce is good old fashioned Ketchup.
You add some extra sweetness with honey & brown sugar, some tang with white vinegar and a little bit of umami with soy sauce.
The last ingredient is paprika and Dad uses it mainly for that wonderful red color.
Baste with or just slather it on
This homemade BBQ sauce is great for basting ribs as Dad does in his weber kettle smoked ribs recipe. Or you could just use it to top your favorite grilled foods.
This BBQ sauce is sweet, tangy and you can even add some Cayenne pepper if you want to have it be a little spicy.
