Place the Trivett in the Instant Pot and add 1 cup of water. Place the egg on top of the Trivett.
Depending on how you want your eggs cooked cook for 1, 3 or 5 minutes on manual/high. 1 Minute for soft boiled, 3 for medium and 5 for a traditional hard boiled egg.
As soon as the cooking time is done do a quick release by flipping the toggle to venting.
Fill a bowl with ice and water and immediately place the egg the ice bath after you remove it from the Instant Pot.
It is easier to peel eggs under cold runnign water.
