Equipment

  • Instant Pot or Electric Pressure Cooker
  • Trivett
  • Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup Water

Instructions

  • Place the Trivett in the Instant Pot and add 1 cup of water. Place the egg on top of the Trivett.
  • Depending on how you want your eggs cooked cook for 1, 3 or 5 minutes on manual/high. 1 Minute for soft boiled, 3 for medium and 5 for a traditional hard boiled egg.
  • As soon as the cooking time is done do a quick release by flipping the toggle to venting.
  • Fill a bowl with ice and water and immediately place the egg the ice bath after you remove it from the Instant Pot.
  • It is easier to peel eggs under cold runnign water.
